Popping up all over...!
One of the best bits about being in business is getting out and about and meeting other people, getting tips and advice and generally keeping up to date with what is going on in the marketplace.
I'm really pleased to be involved with a range of events for the Local Enterprise Partnership across York/North Yorkshire and the East Riding and also Hambleton District Council.
As well as providing PR workshops, I'm also going to be involved in the LEP's Pop-up Business Cafe event being held at the Springboard Business Centre in Stokesley on July 10th.
It's a great (free!) opportunity to meet lots of different people- and pick our brains! There's even a good cuppa and some brekky on too! You can read more about it here: -
Speaking of July....! Not sure if you've seen the news, but the networking event that I set up with a colleague has been shortlisted for a business award! Thirsty Thursday has been shortlisted in the Hambleton District Council Business Awards in the Hambleton Champion category. Just being nominated was amazing so to be shortlisted is a great boost- we find out if we're winners on Thursday 9th July.
