MC Ware urges businesses to be seen online

Stokesley-based MC Ware is offering local businesses the opportunity to get their company website listed on the top page of Google- or their money back.

MC Ware specialises in search engine optimisation (SEO) which is the technique of making a website more relevant and more prominent in search engines so potential customers can easily locate a business online.

The company is urging business owners to check their websites and ensure they are regularly updating their sites with appropriate, target-market key words as more customers than ever flock to the Internet to search for products.

Recent research revealed that the UK has become the first major economy in the world where companies spend more on Internet than TV advertising with 60% of this being spent on search advertising.*

Now, MC Ware is offering a risk-free service by guaranteeing that a customer’s website will appear on the top page of Google, after agreeing specific key words, or they will get their money back.

Managing director MC Ware, Jonathan Wheatley, explained: “Getting a good website is just the start- getting people to actually see it is where the hard work begins. It’s vital that businesses can be easily found online by their potential customers otherwise what’s the point in investing in a website.

“It’s so frustrating to see a burgeoning business with a great website that is just lost in cyberspace because it hasn’t been optimised.  This is especially important for e-commerce sites as companies need to create awareness and let customers know that they are there.

“Online spending is constantly increasing and the recession has made digital advertising more popular than ever. Hence, investing in SEO generates more business and helps companies really see a return on their investment.”

MC Ware, established in 1998, employs 14 staff at its offices in Stokesley and is one of Teesside’s longest-established IT companies specialising in the anti-spam field, managing network installations, disaster recovery, telephone systems, marine installations and web and internet design.
