First of all- Happy New Year! Welcome to our first newsletter of 2008.

Now January is out of the way, we thought it would be a good time to update you on lots of interesting developments within Anna Addison Associates since the end of last year.

We’re pleased to say that 2008 got off to a flying start with a clutch of new clients coming on board- so here’s a little more about each of them: -

One of our most unusual new additions is Inner Potential, run by Lesley Broadhead. As well as being one of the North’s most highly-trained and experienced psychological therapists, Lesley is also a ‘Happiness Coach’. Lesley runs workshops and classes for businesses and community organisations as well as one-to-one sessions looking at issues such as workplace motivation and happiness at work and at home using techniques such as NLP, hypnotherapy and the Emotional Freedom Technique. Many of you will be familiar with the tremendous work of DigitalCity, based at the University of Teesside in Middlesbrough. DigitalCity is the multi-million pound regeneration project, supported by One NorthEast and the University of Teesside, working with new and growing creative businesses all over the North East. We’ll be working together to let people know what’s happening at DigitalCity over the next few months and we were really pleased to be invited on board at such an exciting time in the project. http://www.idi-uk.org/

Staying with all things creative and digital, another new addition to the Anna Addison Associates portfolio is MC Ware in Stokesley, on the outskirts of Middlesbrough. MC Ware is one of the Tees Valley’s longest-established internet firms and this year celebrates its tenth anniversary. As well as being a leader in vital business issues such as the anti-spam field and managing network installations, MC Ware provides a range of services including business solutions, disaster recovery, telephone systems, marine installations and web and internet design. January has also been a hectic time for Jacky Robson from B4Baby.org, Lindsay Jewison from myexercisestudio.com and Keith Moss, the world-renowned fine art photographer from East Cleveland.

Jacky and her team of midwives, from Scarborough, have launched their luxury ante-natal courses for Mums-to-be. Combining the plush surroundings of Cave Castle Hotel and Country Club, at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds in Beverley, and vital classes in many aspects of ante-natal care, Jacky and her experienced team provide weekend breaks with a difference. Lindsay Jewison has now launched her on-demand Pilates classes at www.myexercisestudio.com. Already picked up by the Guardian, Zest, the Independent and the Daily Express, the classes are proving a real hit especially with people- like many of you- who just don’t have the time to get to the gym.

And it’s big congratulations to Keith Moss who has landed a major exhibition at a well-known London gallery. Keith will be taking a collection of his famous black and white fine art photographs to the Brick Lane Gallery for a dedicated exhibition running from March 5th-16th. Finally, Happy Birthday to The Introduction Company. Lesley Brewer celebrates her second year in business this month and is enjoying continued success as people from all over the UK now use her exclusive head-hunter service to help them find love.
